Austen…Brisbane Newborn Photographer

My baby you will always be…

No matter where you are…

You’re like a little part of me…

Whether near or far…

I counted all your tiny toes…

When you were fresh and new…

Words can’t express how proud I was…

That I’d been given you…

Your tiny little newborn face…

I couldn’t have loved more…

And though your face was new to me…

‘Twas like we’d met before…

And so each day you grew and grew…

As I looked proudly on…

Until one day I looked and saw…

Your baby days were gone…

But once my baby you will stay…

That way for all my days…

My baby you will always be…

And I’ll love you always.

Today I had the most adorable little guy in the studio…the third little love I have photographed for this gorgeous family over the last few years, what an honour. This little guy is such a miracle, meant to be here and sent from up above. You see his big sister Myra, who just turned 4 and big brother Henry, who just turned 2, are both IVF miracles…much loved and wanted, fought for, struggled for and such a blessing for this family. But this little man…well he was a surprise, a bonus gift for his beautiful Mumma and Papa. Now life is a little hectic, and fairly sleepless, but they all arrived in one piece today and we had such a special session.

World…Meet Austen…he’s new here.x. Newborn baby boy sleeping on teal blanket with teal wrap and knit bonnetLook at that sweet blonde hair…long lashes and smooshie lips…isn’t he adorable! How adorable is little Austen! Oh Austen…you are a true delight…let’s not mention all the poop…lucky we’re friends!

Myra and Henry you are the best big sister and brother that a little guy could ask for and I just know Austen is one lucky bubba.

Jess and Hayden it is always a privilege to be chosen to capture special memories for a family but to be welcomed back into your story three times over is just such a joy. I am so excited (& tired) for you both!
